Second Grade...
Assalamu Alaikum,
Insha Allah this reaches you all in the best of health and Iman, Ameen!
My name is Hanna Abdulkhaleq and I will be your child's 2nd grade teacher. This will be my second year of teaching at the Islamic School. I am very excited for this school year and look forward to working with you all and your children!
I was born and raised all my life in Columbia, Missouri. I graduated from the University of Missouri May 2020 with a degree in Biological Sciences and a minor in Psychology. I plan on going to graduate school very soon Insha Allah to obtain my masters in education. I have always loved working with kids, especially within our diverse community! I have had many teaching experiences such as tutoring at the City of Refuge as well as at the Islamic School, and working at Al-Ghazali weekend school over the past few years. I am also involved in Rabbaniyah, a youth program which provides a space for the children in the community to form bonds of brother and sisterhood. All of this has been very rewarding and taught me a lot about working with children and education.
Together we can make this year successful Insha Allah by working as a team. Parent involvement will be crucial to ensure your child gets the very best Insha Allah!
Here are the best ways to reach me if you ever have any questions or concerns!
Barak Allahu Feekom. I am looking forward to a great year Insha Allah!
